Instruction Offered:
We offer both traditional NRA classes as well as customized personal one-on-one instruction. The core course is the classic NRA Basic Pistol course; taught quarterly schedule at our OlyPen Firearms office in Sequim. For more advanced students, we offer our Concealed Carry Course, which is a combination of the new NRA CCW augmented with several hours of instruction covering the practical legalities of lawful self-defense, based on our personal training by such luminaries as Masaad Ayoob, Andrew Branca, Tom Givens.
A favorite offering is our Gun Buyer Assistance for the individual looking to purchase their first firearm. The student receives a half to full day of private one-on-one instruction focused on assisting the student in selecting the ideal handgun that suits their personal needs and wants. Natually, this includes instruction on basic firearm safety and handling while the student handles a wide variety of handguns, followed by the opportunity to shoot a selection of handguns best suited for the student's needs.
Private instruction is available for individuals or groups by special arrangement.
